Thank you everybody for all of your help! i got all of the corrosion off checked all the wires you guys told me to double check and replaced my positive terminal and hes back! rascal lives to drive tomorrow! im truly greatful

Funny we were talking about this just a couple of days ago and this morning my 5th ave had bad battery connection problems. Everything worked fine the whole way to work. Once I hit the first light after coming off the highway all my electronics died as i stopped. Kept it alive by putting it in neutral to keep the RPMs up. Once I got to work I took my cables off cleaned everything up and it worked perfect the whole way home. Electrical stuff can be a pain.

I had the same problem. Couldnt figure it out to save my life. WHY wouldnt my Duster start....ALL I DID WAS PULL THE CLUSTER TO DETAIL IT. Put it back in, but no ignition fire to the engine. HHHHHUUUUUUHHH?

When I found out the prob from one of my Bud's, I about ****.

The thick RED and BLACK wires at the LEFT of your Cluster are not correct. Maybe the wires are not connected correctly (as mine werent) or maybe one is frayed or excessively loose.

Crawl back under there and make sure they are connected or just snip them altogether if it is a race car, like mine. Then it will never come back to bite u in the *** again. We dont use the factory gauges in racing anyway.

THIS is definitely your problem.
