How possible is it to have radiator shop switch the bottom outlet to the passenger side so my 360 water pump will work with my stock 273 radiator. Has anyone ever had this done? Any suggestions appreciated.

It can be done or you can use a 273 timing cover and water pump on the 360 to work with your radiator. If you do the 2nd it will fool some people that its a 273.

You can put an early water pump on without changing the timing cover. It just makes it a little harder to see the timing marks.

I've had the lower nipple moved on a few radiators in the past with no problems. Just make sure you go to a reputable shop to have it done. Geof

If i put an early water pump on will all my brackets sitll work? I dont have any stock 273 brackets just the ones that came on the 360

The 273 wp is thinner than the 360. Keep in mind that will bring the fan closer to the rad.
Another option would be to run street rod style chrome flexible hoses, which are cut to fit, across the bottom???

No, the later water pumps use different pulleys and brackets. If I was to do it again I would of gon with newer stuff just for more aftermarket stuff like serpentine(spelling) set and and trick aluminum brackets . Saying that you can or could get stuff still for the older stuff.
