Raised white letters or blackwall

-
I bought new tires for my work van. They only had two black wall ad two with white letters. I put white letters out on right side of van. Nobody ever called me out on it. Yrs later I sold it and about 2yrs after he first noticed

I'm putting new tires on my 71 Duster. Considering raised white letters. Is that look dead from the past or making a comeback?View attachment 1716481683
There isn't a radial tire made, worthy of white letter out. The fonts all suck. The only ones I would do are the Coker Firestone Wide Oval. BFG are an "ok" tire (I have them) but the white letter turn brown. That's a gorgeous car, dont mussy it up with White Letter Out (just my opinion, of course)

Here’s a good comparison. I deep down wanted white letters out but I initially went with black. It bothered me after a few weeks so I had them swapped. Kinda dumb but these tires are going to be on there for a long time.

That black bumper... not a fan at all. Especially with the scoop under it. It makes it look like you set it up as a pusher rig of some sort like a tow truck. Front bumpers are supposed to be sleek. The bumper looks twice as big as a regular bumper. No disrespect.

I do want to add. The color and the rest of the car is beautiful I didn't consider that color but it is gorgeous. Reminds me of a type of desert sand sort of color but a little lighter. It's very beautiful.

What are you talking about, black bumper?

The air dam is similar to the Direct Connection air dam. It makes a noticeable difference above 55 mph. The bumper is tucked in about an inch.

In one of your previous photos the bumper looks completely black. Perhaps it was just the lighting. That's what I could see. Maybe my eyes were playing tricks. That car is so beautiful. What is that color called? I might do that in the future.

There is a trick for cleaning raised white letters and white walls. You can use lighter fluid and a razor blade and they look brand new. I worked in a tire shop back in the 80s and we kept it on the shelf just for that purpose. I say, please yourself. I like black walls.
