I have been subscribing to Mopar Collectors guide for years. Never had a problem, untill now. Always renew at ICH swap meet. I always pay in cash. I have not gotten my Jan issue. My buddies have. I have called and left messages 3 days in a row. No response. They say "we are on the phone with other people and you can wait or leave a message." I have left my name, number and short message about my subscription. Still no call. If they are a 1-person office, do they have that many calls that they cannot return mine? And they keep raising the cost. RANT OVER FOR NOW.

any shows going on that they are away from the office? or maybe snowed in. or-they took all the subscription money and bought an island somewhere :)
sorry, not trying to make light of the situation, we've all been thru something like that.

thought of an example. had all the magazine subscriptions from Petersen or whatever they were called. one by one, magazines were dropped and combined with Hot Rod. we will lengthen your subscription. I think it finally ran out and not a moment to soon. YUK! it ain't what it used to be IMO.

Yep, sucks big time. Car craft (my favorite peterson) and hot rod. No refund, but we will give you access to .com. thanks alot. Now they are publishing hot rod again, only it's quarterly.
Mopar action 3 times, the best mopar in print, really 3 times?
If I want to look at the internet, I'm going to FABO.
They even discontinued 95% of the shows on motor trend channel. Now the word motor trend is an oxymoron.
**** those bastards.

There's a rant for ya.

No, twice.
The second time was Sports Illustrated's fault. It took down the whole company. Mopar Action was doing fine, making money, but unlike S.I., wasn't big enough to for a publisher to revive.

MCG has a pretty small staff, considering the quality of magazine they put out. They are the last man standing as far as Mopar magazines go. I just called and renewed for 5 years a while back because I've missed them at a show more than once and got caught scrambling like the OP. If I'm not senile in 5 years, I'll renew for 5 more if they stay afloat. Magazines are going the way of the Dodo bird. I have an attic full of them and have no idea what I'm going to do with them. You can't even give them away at shows cause all of us old guys are in the same boat.....and losing more paddlers ever day! :(

I have a 2000 Dodge parts van beside my house filled to the top with the magazines I bought since the early 70's. If I just had all the money back...LOL..

No lie! I'm 68 and probably have most every magazine I've ever bought. I did finally ditch the boxes full of Hemmings Motor News. It was like getting a new phone book every month...lol.
