I will get a few posted. Couple are ready for paint. done in red oxide primer over the grey sealer. Soon to be assembled with original drive trains. Tripped over these cars looking for parts for a father son project that involved the triple black car and a 340 coupe that was not a Formula S or Cuda' - son enjoyed the hobby, learned how to be mechanical and got to drive either of the two depending on the weather or his mood to high school. Drove the convertible to his senior prom. I got to drive a 1966 clunker to high school in 1979. Not quite the same statementPictures would be great
It would be one to modify... 3rd Gen Hemi with a 6 speed manual transmission. That's what I would do with itYea heard 340 3 speed cars are rare ..but is it more desirable...
When they only make 100 of something then brake it down to options im sure there are a lot of 1 of 1
Seen a 71 fury 1 for sale slant with 3 on the tree ..didn't know the made 6 cyl fury or
Manual fury cool yes but not the car I want to drive
Yep, thats one sweet peice of mopar history.![]()
1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years
UPDATE May 21, 2024 Welcome, for those of you reading this build for the first time, the car is done and I could not be happier with the result. It took 1 year to complete. Thanks for following along. Hello all, found the forum searching for info on the 1969 Dodge Dart we just received...www.forabodiesonly.com
This is very true for the 66 model, and the red one would be a great car for mr (or anyone to go snag up in Michigan, a great daily driver, disk breaks, 273 built correctly in my book, I have a convertible top installer in Memphis that would love to put a new top on it.. thinking I should drive this up there and see if he needs a great solid low mileage 2008 silverado 4x4 .. and drive that drop top 273 Valiant back home to ArkansasThese are pretty rare. Commando equipped 66 Signet convertible. The red one is mine, the blue one belongs to Rich McMahon “SSVDP”. I believe I read somewhere that 148 examples were built in 1966.

I've told this story here before. I went to school with a guy who had a 69 Road Runner. The paint was still fair. It was plum crazy and it was original. His Uncle bought the car new from Century Dodge Chrysler Plymouth in Macon. We all "thought" high impact colors started for the 1970 model year, but here it was. 383, 4 speed with an 8 3/4. I don't know whatever became of that car. I need to call Terry and ask him about it.In high school had a friend with a (think 69)340 s coupe b5 4 speed loved that car
It was already fading and beat-up in 1980
7?? and my own junk yard of parts to help finish these projects. Did not share the A53 H-Code convertible. Body complete, all mechanicals rebuilt B7 / B5 / white top. Will come together. Need two more years to finish all the rest of these. Final project will be the other A57 4 speed coupe. How many do you have ?

This car was well known around Washington. I sold it to Jim Hackett in the mid 70's. He loaned it to one of the Cooper brothers who wrapped it around a pole near the old American Can on Rte 31.In high school had a friend with a (think 69)340 s coupe b5 4 speed loved that car
