Been working hard on getting the 340 ready to fire. I think I’m about there!

It looks like it was involved with a match, in some, way, or, form but is not a match.

I worked with an old 426 max wedge that looked about like that, you'd be surprised what you find under that rust.

Looks like my freash 67 HP that went Scuba diving a couple years ago. Oh be sure to keep it at 2500 so till the cam breaks in . Lol

I was surprised you all have a town named Hell up there. lol
Yep, about 4 miles from my house. We go there quite often, it’s down a nice winding road that’s very popular with the motorcyclists. There is only 3 buildings in the town, an ice cream store, a bar, and an abandoned building that used to be a trinket store. The bay has a really good fish dinner on fridays, and live music. It’s very popular around here.

Dang right. Might could make a dollah or two.
I’m stripping it down and sending it over to the machine shop to have it checked out. It has the original X heads, intake and one exhaust manifold. It came from the honey hole. I think it was at the bottom of the hole tho, for a long time.

Working on the engine today. Lifters are out, another soaking, and I found a VIN! 8B121771, I’ll post it over in the lost and found too!
