Boy now I'm kind of scared cuss I mostly agree with Dan's take on tax exempt status for religious groups. You know that opens a whole new keddle of fish. We got a huge Catholic School system out here in Alberta, as I'm sure that most of the provinces do, that are funded from the taxpayer just like the public school system. Since the Catholics teach their religion to the students, and the parents have signed a document allowing that to happen, I'm wondering if the catholic schools get tax exempt status when it comes to thier property taxes. Curious.
