i have the opposite problem... everything i have is SAE and i need metric...
Really, really dumb socket question.

You can get by with SAE tools on some metric stuff and "vise" versa. (yuk yuk)
One thing that there is no size SAE tool that will fit on is 10mm. And there may be one or two other sizes, but that's the common one.
