Rear axle question : center pin stuck on the ring.

No has the c clips. Sure is a weird one. How the heck they get the c clips on?
 
Long shot here the flats on the cross pin did they modify it so the pin can be pushed in to a flat where the axel can be pushed in to get the clip out? Make sense?

No push the cross pin in maybe to a flat so the axel can move inward? Hard to explain it,
 
Push it out as far as you can see if there is a flat there on the cross pin the axel can go into?
 

turn the pin and look for a flat where the axles are which would allow a axle to push in to get the c-clip out. it's the only way i could see that working

k.. so it looks like the top where the bolt holds the pin in is ground.. turn it so it lines up with the ring gear and push it up and i bet that lower flat while allow the c-clip to come out
