How can I tell if the reg on my 69 Fish is electronic???

Unlike the original tin covered one with points...this one has a perfectly square plastic case with absolutely no markings on it.

Me thinks it is electronic, but it doesn't come apart at all!!!

If it's generic and/or aftermarket... does it matter??

If so, it's electronic.

That sounds like the electronic one in my car. Big and plastic.

It's more like what Adam discribed.

Yours looks like the Mopar replacement for the points type.

When this black box goes south I'll get MP unit.
