Well, my Duster has the black "protective" trim along the side of the car. I really want to put white 340 stripes on it as they along with the white interior will really look sharp with the blue paint. I'm thinking about tearing off the trim today but not sure how much work it will be. Anybody done this before? Whats the best way to remove it and the glue it's held on with without damaging the paint?

If I am understanding you correctly it is the stick on stuff. That can be removed with dental floss or fishing line using a slow sawing motion once the floss or line is behind it. Any residue can be removed with 3M rubbing compound if it is a clear coat paint job. It might not hurt the regular stock paint but I'm not sure on that one.

Yep. It is the stick on stuff. The paintjob isn't factory. It does have clear on it but it's a cheap paintjob done by the last owner.

Also, another question...how many bolts are holding the back bumperettes on?

I'm not familiar with Dusters but I would imagine it has one.
