Hello everyone,
New to the forums, loving it. You guys are great.

I recently bought 73' dart, for a $1k, body is great, rest needs work.
I had it up on jacks the otherday repairing a steering coupler issue (previous owner attempted to jb weld the steering coupler to PW steering shaft...what a mess, needed a torch and hammer to chip jb weld off, then ended up grinding the PS steering imput shaft to get coupler back on...gotta replace PW steering pump now...anyway)

I bought this car knowing it was gonna be a fixer up, am going to mod/upgrade as i do so. Not worried about being stock.

POINT OF STORY, sorry.
While car was up on jacks, noticed that the front suspension is barely bolted on, has several misisng bolts, sheered bolt w no but holding passenter tie rods...etc.

I am going to be completeing ripping all the suspension out, replacing with a kit from PST.....I do not have the bolts though, Does anyone know where I can get a suspension bolt kit? also this does apply to other areas of car, such as the tranny crossmember held in w bailing wire...

any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sorry for the long winded story setup, ha.

Evidently the previous owner didn't have this forum/resource.
I've never seen a kit covering chassis and suspension hardware. Typical hardware found in the aftermarket is the more often needed pieces like upper arm eccentrics.
if you compile a shopping list of the missing hardware, someone with a parts donor could likely fill the majority of your needs. Good luck

Dang, that seems so crazy. What happens if someone sheers a bolt? are they SOL like me? I can't believe there is not a company selling bolt kits...argg

ty for the reply, I may have to do just what u said.

Just what bolt's are you talking about? Do you mean nuts for the ball joints and tie rods?

I am going to need to strip the front end suspension down to just the subframe, replace every bolt, nut, washer, etc....
I have a kit from PST for the suspension rebuild parts, but still need all the bolts.
So any and all bolts....like i said, this cars previous owner hacked the hell outta it.

Found out last night, the 360 block is actually only held in the car by the 2 motor mounts, and 1 bolt on the torque convertor...not even a 1 bolt in the bell housing.

I don't trust any bolts or anything on this car at this point.
