SB or BB? Happy to talk if interested in a SBDoes anyone know of a reputable Mopar engine guy in the Phoenix area??
I'm in the same boat, crate engine not an option. I have a 66 Barracuda Formula S and my 273 is numbers matching and needs a rebuild. I am in SW CO. and don't know any mopar minded reliable engine builders here. I am willing to travel for the right builder.
..... as long as you dont want a big block. You could have blueprint send you one with a warranty...
Small block. I bought a Mopar performance 5.9 magnum short block, still sealed in it's crate from 1999. I'm a welder by trade, and haven't built an engine since 1997, but I would assume that it'd be a good idea to at least go thru it, and verify torque specs. The engine came with closed chambered heads, with 2.02 valves, and an FI intake. I just don't know what to buy to put on this for a good street car/ daily driver.SB or BB? Happy to talk if interested in a SB![]()
