Has anyone used Rhoads lifters. I want to pickup a little bit more idle quality and some bottom end. Do they work or just a waste of time. I am trying to save this engine for one more season before I go for a new setup.

They do work, but they usually sacrifice a little noise. You may hear some ticking with them at idle.

Noise right now is not an issue. just want to pick up a little more bottom end with this combination.
Combo dependent....
I used them with a Mopar 288 circle track cam. It did the trick, Smoothed idle, boosted low end torque. You will notice.

Joe , I too have used them and they do work. But keep in mind since they work off of oil pressure...if you use a Hi-pressure oil pump..you will defeat thier purpose. Good luck, Terry.
