Plymouth 65
I'll be in the shop
My engine machinist is not a fan of Keith Black pistons. Myself, I think they are fine but you need to follow the installation instructions. I'm old school and still like heavy slugs and use them in my builds! 65'
So the ring that has the bevel will be the first ring (top)

Mine isnt either when we couldnt find .060 over speed pros he recommended me use the 405s over the kbs but I'm stubborn and wanted what I wanted lolMy engine machinist is not a fan of Keith Black pistons. Only one has a bevel. But according to the instructions it's the second ringYes, as long as the other set of rings doesn’t have a bevel. If it does, look at the face of the ring and the one with moly in it is the top. If neither have moly and both have a bevel it doesn’t matter.

Yea best I can tell. The cast ring according to hastings is the one with the dot and bevel. The moly ring has no dot and looks straight to me. I will get some pics in the morning. That’s weird. So the ring without moly in it has a bevel, and the ring with the moly does not have a bevel????
If so, that is weird.
That is how Hastings 2M139 rings are. If that is what you have.
What he said^^The rings are different.
