RIP 240 Gordie

We lost another racer on November 29 at the age of 65. Gordie Bonin (240 Gordie) died in Las Vegas. Sad to see racing hero's that I grew up watching passing. Rip 240 Gordie. :burnout:

So sorry to read this - I watched '240 Gordie' make a lot of passes at the big funny car events at OCIR and the national events at Pomona and Ontario.

Yes, I have to agree...very sad news. He was a special guest at our annual
"Thunder in The Alberni Valley" drags 2 years ago. He said he was hoping to
be back in a racecar of some sort and compete in the event soon.
