rod bolts/main cap bolts/head bolts/intake manifold bolts what lube?

-
I use sealant on the intake bolts so they don't wick oil up, and a little engine oil on the rest.
If using arp bolts use the supplied arp lube.

Either use engine oil or ARP or Cat peanut butter or Torco assembly lube.

There is no reason to use sealer on any bolt on a Chrysler unless you have a block with the very rare open head bolt holes.

Engine oil or ARP lube if using their fasteners.
If you've got aluminum heads use a dab of anti-seize on the manifold bolts to prevent thread corrosion/galling.

I do this too. I had a customer testing a crankcase evac system on the dyno. I suggested we check for air leaks. So we pressurized the crankcase with low pressure air and started spraying soapy water everywhere. We were surprised to see the intake manifold bolts leaking. We put sealer on the threads and it sealed them up.

rods and mains get astroglide® or pam®

accept no substitutes.

manifold, some type of sealer. dealer's choice. i like p-tex hi temp thread sealant

How much crankcase vacuum was he pulling?

I remember from decades ago someone posted that Ma mopars torque specs were for clean/dry threads & that lube might cause overstretching

I just use motor oil. I think it's 30 weight oil in my old time squirt can with the trigger. It don't take much, just enough so it isn't dry. You for sure don't want to dip the bolt in oil or squirt the hole full. Too much oil and you might hydro lock the bolt and bust the block!

May not be thinking of the timming chain cover and water pump bolt, but the bolts that hit a water jacket need a sealant and a touch of anti-seize..
