what is a good price for a late 80's roller cam 360? ran across one that's been sitting for a few years but supposed to run good when pulled.

I see them at the wrecking yards quite often and they are $150.

Was it sitting inside or outside? Inside - prob $3-400. Outside $100 tops.
I paid $300 for a 360 crate motor that had a roller block. Sold everything but the block and ended up getting it for $100

guy wants 500.00 for it and its been sitting in his garage for a while. thought it was steep.im trying to find one to run as my 318 roller is knocking.

For 500 it auto be complete turn key.
Here's a search of junk yards in the midwest for a 91 360 engine. the cheaper ones are on the last page.
Some of the salvage yards may also give you a warranty.

Look a little down the first page, there is a 360 in Danville, IL with 10 k miles on it for $575. Here's the search sorted by mileage:
