I have a ‘71 Duster that came with no glass installed. Can anyone tell me if there is any other piece of trim that goes on before the weatherstripping? Would you recommend using weatherstripping adhesive? Any tips on the installation of this weatherstripping. Sorry for these questions, as I’m very inexperienced in Mopars. This ‘71 Duster is my first try at restoring a Mopar. Thanks in advance.

There is stainless trim that holds the weatherstrip in place. There is a sealing strip that goes between that trim and the body.

Would you know if these parts are available for purchase at any store?

The two rubber seals are available but for the metal trim you should place a "Wanted" add here.

Detroit Muscle Technology has the foam that goes between the roof rail trim piece and the actual car...google them, they have so many seals and gaskets for your car and they are 2 of the nicest people you will ever talk with...Rich
