hey, im trying to bring back my 76 duster back to driving condition. one of the main problems i have is the car runs and drives okay. but it feels like it just idles really bad and runs really rich. i havent been around carbs too long so i was wondering are there any basic carb adjustments i can do myself? ive been around cars for a while and do this for a living, but when it comes to old school stuff, im alittle clueless

I'd rebuild the carb, fully clean and blow out all orifices. And if you do this yourself, carefully read all the adjustment instructions. And start with 1.5 turns out on the idle mixture screws. Also make sure the pcv, choke pull off, and vac advance are hooked to the correct ports.
