Saved:cheers: From the Crusher!! The guy had it loaded From the back window to the dash(could only see about 3" of the wood grain steering wheel) to the roof with oil filters(see oil on car trailer) and garbage... trunk was full also!:banghead: spent 4 hours cleaning it out!

1966 Valiant, 68 340 4bl, 727 was told it has reverse manual valve body and stall, 83/4 suregrip he said came out of a AAR?!... not sure about that?... Also Front disc brakes! Witch will be goin on my Dart! I will be pulling drive train and parting out car. It says Camando on the fenders...not sure about that either...

I can`t understand why people would crush old cars that obviously have enough left on them to sell as parts cars or restore? Hell, if I was the crusher I would set it aside and make more off it parting it out as much as possible. What would a car like this bring in scrap value anyway?

Anyway nice save looks pretty solid!

Edited to add: If you can prove that the rear end is in fact from an AAR I imagine it would be worth quite a bit to someone restoring one.

Very nice that you saved it from the crusher.......... as it does look like
it has plenty of part's on it. Also, nice to see it's a 2 dr post car....... which are getting alot harder to find these day's. Nice save tho!!

that car is beat up from the feet up with rust!. nice to part out to help so many others stay from being crushed!

Way cool! The thought of crushing a car with a 8 3/4 and a 340. Just nuts!

You never see valiants around this part of KY. As a mater fact I do not think I have ever seen one around hear. All Darts and cudas

Went took more pics for you guys today. Somebody ask how much they would have gotten for scrap price on this car... I'm guessing around $300-400 from what I know. The Fender tag is a ball of rust!:banghead: is there any other way to get more info? And is that an Old Grant steering wheel?
Thank you for all the interest! I hope I can use this car to bring new life to others!

Dar I ask what you gave for it? I am just curious how lucky you got!

Looks like there are allot of great parts there. Heaven knows I would LOVE to find a 340 like that.

And looks like an old Grant wheel to me.
