Saw this on Summit. Kinda interesting, especially those like me who are into restomod builds:

Unfortunately it looks like it is only for the later model A-bodies, it says 72-76 for fitment.
I don't see a model in this series that works for the earlier models.
Expensive, it was just over $1,000 during the Christmas sales. It's now $1,458.

I like my current gauge setup. But, I spent over $800 in 2021 on this. If I knew this was coming out later and on sale for I would've waited.
My setup right after I installed it in 2021:

With a 10% off coupon , it would’ve brought it down to $900.

Both are nice looking gauge set ups, I don’t know if I would’ve changed yours out.

When you order it, do you have to tell them the mileage on the car or is it set at zero? Could be a problem when selling vehicle, especially with a title.

I know the New Vintage Auto Gauges have an odometer base mileage programming function, I would think that the other gauges are similar in that respect.

yours look much better. The speedo actual resembles the layout of a rally face

My old cars have a tach (to use as speedo- which usually does not work) and an add on oil pressure gauge. They never get too hot and if they did I would recognize the steam from under the hood???? See, I saved $1500 I did not have anyway!!!

Can’t stack the discounts and sale items, sadly.

I will have to probably wai tuntil they ar eon sale to! they look awesome but some of these gauge places are out of their mind on the prices, Dakota digital wants like 4k+ on some of thier stuff!!!! I bought my car for 4k it was years ago but still xD I really appreciate it thank you bud!

I wonder if anyone has used that InVision gauge setup yet. Looks like the tach would be centered above the column, which is great. But the speedo might get covered by the steering wheel and force you to look around it to check your speed. I guess the digital speed readout in the middle probably works to do that, but I like a needle, even if it is digital. And if I had to tilt my head every time I wanted to check my speed, it would get old (for me).

Now, if you could flip the speedo so it worked CCW it might work better. Don't see an option for that though.

I guess it does have a setup with a speedo over column and you could switch between the setups to put the tach or the speedo centered over the column depending on what you are doing.

Just a curiosity on my part. I've seen them before and always wondered how they actually work when behind a steering wheel.

Heck most of my projects cost less than those gauges!!!   :BangHead:
amen man it's hard out there! I started with my pops right out of highschool in 08- always wanted a 68 charger but lmao well we aren't rich or that lucky and my dad always loved A bodies and I found my happy spot with the darts awesome cars but man it will be hell for the new guys coming in. I feel bad for them really

theres a couple of videos on youtube with the lcd invision one and it has 4 different styles you can switch between and one of them you can change the colors on. looks pretty good but not as "classic" more restomod type thing.

heres a link, doesn't show any of the realin the car stuff but it goes through the screen styles and shows it mocked into the housing they made to fit it into the dash.

Yep, definitely restomod or protouring.

Sure like to see it with a steering wheel in front of it.

Too bad they didn't tool up a Ralley insert for the same screen, I bet that could be centered over the steering column and worked well. Probably looked like a modern take on the Ralley dash. That I might have been interested in, if I ignored the price.

there are videos of people with it in different cars, they have setups for mustangs, k5's and a bunch of other stuff if you just wana see it in action

That’s pretty cool, I didn’t really look at it until you posted a YouTube video.

I am curious to see how it fits in an A-Body because of how it is offset in relation to the steering wheel. I can see how it works and the general look of the dash, that is clear. And in a car that has it centered to the steering wheel, it all makes sense so seeing it in other cars is pointless to me.

What does it look like sitting in the seat of an A-Body with a steering wheel in front of it? Can you see the all the gauges without moving around? Or does the steering wheel obscure some of the gauges?

Holy ****, I was checking prices at JEGS for the Autometer gauge cluster compared to Summit Racing, Jegs is over $300 less.
