No pics, but I did that to a 90s Laser a couple years ago! It fit nicely in the bed of my truck when I was done. Lots of fun! I'd do it again! :-D

exactly-- I'm going to have my son haul it off this week, should make a few $$ on the scrap. Lawrence

I've done this to a couple Ramchargers and pickups over the years!!! LOL! It's actually kind of fun in a twisted kind of way!!!!

With my arthritis, a plasma cutter is a lot more fun!!!

Here are a few :) The 1st one is a 50,000 mile 67 Valiant 100 4dr that was rear ended. The 2nd is a 71 Duster which I shouldn't have cut up. The 3rd is a 50,000 mile 68 Valiant Signet 4dr w/ factory cuda rally dash that I needed parts from for my 67. The 4th is a 74 Duster & the 5th is a 75 Valiant 4dr that a father gave his son with 40,000 miles & he cut the roof off of & hung lowrider dingle berries from the jagged metal roof/windshield area. He made the car unsafe because the door pillar is right next to the seat & if someone hit you from the side, you would be dead. The jagged metal above the winshield would also give you 1 hell of a scalping. I have others but I will have to take pics of the pics since they were taken before digital cameras existed :)

Surprised no one has went ballistic about you folks cutting up cars.....after all some folks say EVERY one can be saved......

Somone wanted the shell of the 75 for sheet metal parts since it was so clean. If you look at the floor on it you can see where the difference is between the 108 & 111 wb cars.

So what is the preferred tool.....sawzall, plasma cutter or torch? I cut up a 69 RR years ago that a friend drove into a rock wall running from the law and used a sawzall. Truck I got rid of not to long ago I used a plasma cutter on it.

Any tool that will do the job
cut off wheel, sawzall, torch and the trusty spotweld cutter.

If I can find the pics,I started at the roof skin and worked my way down to the frame rails with a spotweld cutter on a 72 challenger.:D

I used to do a lot with e-bodies:D

No pics, 78 plymouth gran fury 8 pass wagon. when I was done the engine, trans, and rear end were the only parts you couldn't pick up with one hand. It all fit in a pickup bed trailer! Car had been hit in the pass side twice, second time hard enough to buckle the drivers side floor! drove it that way for 3-4 months before I got a replacement.

I would think plasma cutter if you have access. The thing is, they'll cut just about any metal, aluminum, etc. You can immediately lay the "torch" down without fear of starting a big fire, and far less overall heat and mess than a torch.

There might be a few places, like windshield pillars, that a sawzall makes more sense.

By the way, that "might be" what happened to my old '70. I sold it to "some kid," and it suddenly dissappeared. I never to this day got anything out of the brothers other than "it's down over a cliff somewhere."

Just did some last week! Went from the first pic to the second pic.....well actually dismantled it last year and cut it up last week. Doing a Maverick this week :D

Is the top of the passenger 1/4 and trunk gutter good?from front of gutter to the end including the corner above taillight?

Me and Chris M. in Tampa cut up an AAR w/ one. Before you all shout, the car was a rust bucket! And I mean Rotten!
