So here is what the offset roller lifters look like installed in a 360 with the Hughes BigMouth heads. They run an offset roller rocker and it does not line up with the lifter very well, much like any W Series or Indy setup. Well as you can see, these help straighten the pushrod out quite a bit. We have been using them in BBM for many years, and have used quite a few now in the SBM. This setup is using a 3/8 pushrod, and YES it does clear. On some of the W stuff and Indy stuff, there may be a need for some light clearancing of the top of the lifter, and possibly the lifter bore itself if running a Magnum or R block with tall bores.
Lobe lift with this cam is .418" and everything clears everywhere. No grinding of the block either, these lifters drop right in.
