Security system / tracker to put in my car?

I'd like to put something in my 1973 Duster to track it if it ever got stolen.

From what I've read, Apple Airtags work well, but my phone is an Android. So what are my options?

Anything not phone specific, other types of GPS trackers that I can check with my phone or PC?

I've had tracking on two of my cars for about four years now.... I use Optimus trackers... They work incredibly well however they have a monthly service charge, there are newer tag style trackers that supposedly don't have a fee...

I have no experience with those but this one comes highly recommended

I wouldn't suggest an Apple Air Tag, anyone with an iPhone can discover it with their phone...

I don't know anything about this tracker but their commercial does explain the issue with Apple Air Tags

Im contemplating same thing, and have heard Apple tags are traceable also.
