Restore it, Dont part it!
Look what I finally got! I got sick of using the downloaded version on my phone somethings I just want in paper! So I finally ordered me a set of FSM!
Im assuming original im not sure i bought them on eBay. I had a Haynes manual for the dart and It got ruined when my building got destroyed so I figured it was time to get the real thing lol. I use to buy a Haynes manual everytime id buy a vehicle there at one time I had a good collection of them. Then I realized they suck and are not always accurate so I stopped buying themWho from Faxon or original?
Its funny you say year none! I used to think year one was this epic restoration store and was beyond me and my ability. I have ordered a couple things for my dart thru them and I have learned they are kinda a joke! I can't complain about the quality so much because everything iv got has worked but they are overpriced and they are kinda shady. For example with my last order they sent me a 30 percent off coupon for my next order which I thought was awesome. So I was like yea I will use that for sure. I only had till Dec 31st to use it and I got my package on Dec 23rd but no biggie so I started shopping and literally everything I put in my buddy said not eligible for discounts when I tried to use my coupon. Thats some dirty bullshit imo!We have a reprint from Year None for our 67. Binding is horrible, it is all falling apart. One for our 69 is Factory original, 50 years old and in great shape.
These are a great resource. If I could find an original 67 I would like to replace ours.
I have been really scavenging all the 75 dart paperwork I can find here lately lol. I bought a 1975 dodge dart dealer brochure on ebay for like 6 bucks and I found a original 1975 dodge Plymouth Chrysler lineup brochure im bidding on now. I bought a extra owner's manual I thought it would be a good idea to have one to put away as a keepsake and I want to keep one in the glovebox just for appearanceAs others have said, they are really handy. Yeah they are available online but there are just some maintenance jobs that are so much easier to do with a paper copy than scrolling through on a screen.
Those look to be in great shape too. I bought my pair of 75 manuals at a swap meet in the early ‘90s and they are still holding up well even though they are more worn than your pair.
