She hasn’t Divorced me yet!

Try having a 67 convert!

And.... About 12,000 total built in 3 years, and how many are physically still in existence, and of those how many are parts cars!

It's a labor of love to keep them going.

Welcome to the club!

Going to have to buy a donor convertible

From what I read 67 is the most made
69 is the least made
Proud 69 owner....only ever seen one other 69 live

Mostly just buy good convert only parts as you see them.

I have several convert only parts I don't need but I es they are gon that are gone

One in particular is the trunk hinge support brace that holds the tortion springs and is the pivot for the trunk hinge on the body. It goes between the wheel tub and the dutchman. They metal fatigue where the tortion springs go through making the springs unable to support the trunk lid. It can be repaired but if you find a convert being parted and they are good buy them.

Top switches is another, the windshield stainless, the misc convert only door seal channels that screw into the body.

One good thing is some convert only parts on 67-69 barracuda converts are the same.

Beautiful car doc!! did you get that car from the Carolinas?

Well I’ve had the itch ever since I missed out on the green 4 speed convertible a couple months ago.

Saw this one and have been checking it out for a while. My wife said she really liked it and that she would drive it all the time. (Sounds like she wanted it too!). I preferred a 4 speed but she can’t drive manual. Big shout out to @HemiSSDart for talking about the car to me and vouching for it. Took a day trip out to North/South Carolina 1.5 weeks ago and today this thing showed up.

Super clean car, probably to nice for me, my kids and ice cream… but we will enjoy it. I’ll get more pictures when it’s not raining.

Fun story of today.
Jim put the car in the garage, of course I had a contractor over at the same time to go over a French drain. We chatted for a bit then after he left the wife came out to look at the car. I was telling her how it needed nothing, started up with ease and all the good stuff….

Then I opened the door and turned the key… No Start! Cranking and no start… car flooded, I guess choke on carb (butterfly choke?) stayed open and flooded the carb. Wife said “this isn’t very promising and disappointing… and left.”

Put my foot to the floor, cranked it and got it started but at that point she was already gone.

Kids love it and want to drive it but it’s raining. The trusses in my big shop are about to be redone and then the roof spray foamed so it will stay in the house garage for a little while.

Don't recall ever seeing a grille with a center point on it......nice car though!!!

That center is legit... GTS only, rare and expensive part...
I did a quick search and found a couple of GTS cars.....they had the regular grill but someone probably just stuck in what they could find.

 It's an all numbers matching car....too good to part out.

I mean I wouldn’t part it out per se…. I would just donate parts from it to another lol.

I found another convertible on FB but it’s 10k so not really a good cost effective donor car.

But for @Dana67Dart it’s a 67 lol.

Looks like he has a bunch of spare parts, even an extra top? Maybe I should inquire on the spare parts. I found a couple of interior pieces I need.

If someone does concrete work he would be willing to trade… maybe he needs dental work? lol

I saw that car. I think it's a 68 due to the trim by the quarter glass. Not 67.

And it's a $2000 car at best.

Justin send me a list of parts you need I have been collecting for a bunch of years?
