On my 904:
Adjusted the kick down to full line pressure at WOT.
It seems to shift a little early thru the gears when driving casually and kickdown response isn't neckbrackingly snappy and only at about 3/4 throttle.
At WOT it will shift from 1st to 2nd at around 3950 RPM and shift into 3rd at 4100 RPM
When shifting manually the engine isn't too happy above 4300 RPM
Could my crappy Carter 2bbl carb be effecting my shift points? If I adjust the kickdown any tighter it's going to limit WOT... I'm stumped. Anything else in the trans that determines the shift point?
