Hello folks,
I have been a Moparman for forty years now!
In the olden days (pre 2000) we used local parts suppliers for our Moparts.
But now we have the internet and we ship 'door to door'!
Well not anymore it seems???
Ebay Global Shipping has been 'cut back' or even removed for large items.
My point being I can't get crankshafts, rods and piston sets anymore BOOHOO>>>

Anyone here got a method of buying and shipping to the UK please?
Best wishes from stormy, wet and cold England.

There was a member who used a small sea cargo container. Collected parts then had the container shipped.

I also think I have heard of companies that do the logistics for the same type of thing.

I've used the US postal service to mail parts to Europe several times without a problem but it wasn't through eBay. I recently "mailed" a grille to a member in Australia. We're still waiting on that one to arrive.

Check with Thomas Uddberg at California Shipping in Stanton, CA.

Many thanx for the replies Guys!
Yes I did know about Ron Fenton.
Ebay Global has been perfect for many years.
Highly competitive and cheapest by far, until now.

The sellers are saying that Ebay are not sending International and won't list it?:realcrazy::realcrazy::realcrazy:

Its the end of an Era for us Europeans and Chinese engine parts lol...

Stop buying from eBay then? Most major companies that sell cranks, rods and pistons should ship internationally? I'd check Mancini, Hughes, Summit, Jegs, etc? Good luck finding your parts.

Many thanx for the kind words BrianT.

I have enjoyed a wonderful relationship with Ebay Global, but all good things come to an end...
Chinese parts straight from China is my next challenge(r) lol.

Best wishes from rainy, wet and cold England, our third storm in as many weeks!

Summit is great for international shipping. You will get a shipping price on completion of the order, plus choices of shippers.

Hello Folks,
I did the crankshaft purchase on Jegs who have a nice 4.000 crank on offer!
Its free shipping to you guys in the USofA, lovley indeed.

But the shipping was $250 plus taxes (to the UK) which is over double what Ebay Global charge?
I suppose that is how it is from now on...
Stuff is just more expensive for us Brits!
Many thanx for all your comments.

That’s always been the complaint. It certainly sucks. It is what it is. Keep searching for a better deal and let the word out if you find a way to get it done cheaper.

Best of luck and happy hot rodding!

Shipping by boat is cheapest and takes months obviously. Air is $$$. The problem I have had with Canada Post is that they have size and weight limits. I expect USPS is the same. Perhaps somebody like Fedex Freight or DHL can help. They usually all have websites to check services and rates.
