Mr Idaho has good points and thing to consider.
And i to can throw in questions as well like there are other additive that are not being considered that are VARY important for some types of vehicle. Such as the brad pen, for example, additives that help with the delusion of alcohol in the oil. From say a blow alcohol Hemi. The delusion factors are not added to his stress test or, the delusion of gas and or water created by gramms 2 mile drive to the store once week.
With that said I'm going to take that article at face value and fallow his recommendation......Kind of.
I have not use Pennzoil sense i was 16 years old and I'm not going to start Now! so #1 ranking is out of the question. I hated it when Chry changed there mopar motor oil to pens

Have used Castol GTX 20w50 for, ever. Several years ago I broke down and switched. Mobil1 5w20 for my high, high oil pressure problem, and it works grate.
Well Castrol GTX 5w20 ranked at #30 and Mobil1 5w20 ranked at #37.
Look like I'm going back to a conventional oil as well as my favorite brand of oil :cheers:
O and just another note: penz took first with there 5w30 but did you notice were there 5w20 ranked at...........Yeah #53
I have been using the GM oil additive in avery flat tappet eng i have, for many of years now. It's hard to quit doing what works for you........... o well my new eng will have a roller in it any ways:thumblef:
