Hi guys and gals, I am currently running 195's and I think I want to switch to bigger. I wanted to see if I could get some peeps to show me their cars with 205-215 and 225 tires on 14" rims. All are welcome and encouraged but I am particularly interested in 4 door 1972. I will post a pic of how mine looks with the 195's for comparison.

Thanks

Looks good! Love those Keystones on B1 Blue. tmm

What a sharp looking car.
I can't understand why a lot of people hate 4 doors.
I think they're great!

I think they are great too and I don't think people hate them, they just prefer coupes over sedans.
The fact that people use sedans as donor vehicles is starting to make sedans more and more rare. I think that they will only go up in value.

All cars, pre smog going up in value. Love the light blue/Keystone look. It's sweet!

66 Sedan parked I believe are 215 70 14''

215/70-14 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s. Great tires -- probably the best available in this size, but no longer made.

Those are great tires. I think that the raised white letters are the best looking tires for these cars. I think I will end up with the BF Goodrich ta radials. Heck I dont even really need tires since mine are still perfect, but I cant stand it! I just love the way the bigger tire fills the well.

No pic handy of the 215/70/14 on my car but I do have a opinion to share.
White letters or anything that will break up the view will help.
I have black walls and OEM full hubcaps on my 67. The tires, having so much side wall, look a bit out of proportion.
I haven't tried a 225 but have had 195, 205, and bias ply E over the years.
In my eye the 205 looks best suiting to the car with or without white letters, white walls, whatever. I do love the way my 215s ride though so I'll wear them. :)

I used to have a 66 dart that had the 205's and I really liked the look ride and feel. With the 4 door I'm not sure the 205's will give the look I am going for. I know this has been talked about a bunch but I think the 225's are too big for stock A-body fronts but fit quite well in the back without any mods. I don't like to do offset pairs though. I want all my tires to match in size.

With my old firehawks now replaced with T/A's
