NICE 64 i think that use to belong to Abody joe ?? big block ??? ive seen it at the old 6 flaggs cruise nites,,,

the 66 roadster,,very intresting rear suspension,,,care to telll us about it??

I've got it on 4 tires that hold air! The floor needs a "little" work. However I can start it reaching through the window even after a week! It's running in the pictures, almost no smoke! Tags were 22 years out of date when I bought it

I see you have a STAR head on the old girl. That is an old head, most likely original. Right past the intake flange on the head. Also used on the alum blocks. Did the gas cap work?

Haven't looked at this thread for a while. Lots of nice early A's. Here's a older photo of mine. toolman

Hey 604, is that the early 60's Pontiac SD hood scoop? It looks like a nice period piece.

Yep!
I tried and tried to come up with what scoop to use and settled on that one. Seems to be the only scoop in use back in 1965. Found lots of pic of it on different gassers. So apparently Pontiac is not the only one who went to Ford parts counter and bought them! LOL
And I figured the odds of some one getting there hands on a super stock wedge scoop in 65 was slim.

Thanks

It is a good scale for our cars. While still cool, the max wedge scoops are kind of large for the hood.

I like it!!
