Had to upgrade to 15 bbp in rear, so I grabbed a pair of 6.5 Rallyes that currently have 225/70R15s on them, which are garbage. Fronts are 225/70R14 on 5.5s. I like the look OK but thought I'd look at some others before pulling the trigger.

Whip'm out fellas, let's see what you got!

Good looking little car, Mike. I've at that looked at it several times for a while now. Difference is my wheels are 6.5 and I worry 255s are gonna be ill fitting or not look right. I had to put arp studs in and run a 1/2" spacer to clear the 8.8 rotors.. Which pretty much put the wheels in stock A body location, due to the ford be about 1/2" narrower per side now.

No pics, sorry, but Tire Size.com recommends 235/60x15 for a 6.5"up rim. They recommend a 7-9"rim for a 245/255-60x15.
Personally....... if the 245s will fit under the car, on the wheels I've got, and that's what I wanna run, a half inch narrow rim is not gonna bother me.

Gotcha.. Just as long as it doesn't look goofy. Something I need to consider also is height. Fronts now are 26.4 so I need o achieve at least that or taller. I think the 235 comes in a little short

"Show me your meat" and "Whip um out" just don't sound right somehow.

I've got 245/60R15s on 15" X 7" (4 1/4" back spacing) sbp WheelVintiques Rallyes on the factory installed 8 3/4" rear-end (in the stock location, but the previous owner installed ManciniRacing 2800lb springs). Next time I'll use 255/60R15 tires.

The fronts are 195/75R14 on factory 14" X 5 1/2" sbp Rallyes.

Ask me about PSC Liver Disease

I ended up ordering the 245/60s.. Should be in today. Just hoping they look proper on the 6.5s. I did some measuring and appears that I should be fine space wise.. Had some concerns because I have to run 1/2" spacers on the 8.8 for the Rallye to clear calipers.

As it is, my wheels are very centered with 1" to fender lip (1-1/4 on PS) and 1" to spring on both sides with the 225/70.. So the 3/4" wider tire should move me 3/8" out on each side.

I'll eventually get my front Swapped out disc and BBP, move my 6.5 wheels forward and put 7s on the rear.. Maybe 8, if it doesn't pull the tire out too wide. Might be pushing it
