I love those valve covers!

Paid waaayyyyy too much for em. Found a set of knock-offs for about 1/3 of the price but without the Mopar logo. They haven't leaked a drop though so I can't say I'm too mad about it.

Mine's still in traction recovering from a broken stroker piston ring land....ouch!

I got ordered those awhile back because I needed more rocker clearance, where the oil fill baffles are, so for I think they are going to work.

The “new” 318 in Ruby Rose came to life this afternoon. Cam break-in complete. There is a disquieting racket coming from the the left side but seemed to dissipate somewhat as the break-in progressed. I still need to engineer the throttle cable and kick down before I can give it a test drive.
 
My long term engine stand occupier. Hopefully get it buttoned up this summer. Large port Commandos by Shady Dell, 10.5ish compression, older comp 268, 272 @ 50 solid roller
