Show your scoops!!!!!!!!!!

-
I discovered a fellow in Abbotsford, BC. Not far from home. Who makes lots of nice stuff, CHEAP! He does complete hot rod body kits and has molds for everything, including 1964 Plymouth Valiant. That's a story in itself.

His Hemi Hood scoop mold is up to a 8" opening. He will make any size you want. I took my hood to him for a 6" scoop. I was very happy with the scoop and it was ready in three days. It's tough as nails and has a HD mounting flang. I'm very pleased. $175.00. Call Tom at T&M Fiberglass (604) 855-7798 :thumblef:

scoop or no scoop - that´s the question, and it made me a lot of head ache.... so i decided to buy a ram-air-unit - and simply cut a hole in the hood and let it snorkel

here are a view pics from the first pre-testing of the ram-air-filter-velocity-stak-thing

Pretty is pretty; functional is different. At speed, the air hits the basically flat grill, boils upwards, in turbulance, and goes over the hood 4 to 6 inches high. Like the weather, low pressure. Then it hits the windshield, no where to go again. Except over the roof, or into the cowl area, which by the time it enters the rear of the scoop, calmed down air.

Lol, let the bench racing begin.

Just got this last week from a member. AAR Fiberglass Six Pak hood bolt on style.

Explain what is at speed

Here is a teaser.
Contemplating if I want to cut out the scoop areas or not. And if I do, how the hell am I going to cut out the scoop inserts.
