Slant manifold bolts

Do any of the manifold bolts/studs enter the water jackets ? I’m installing new head & new studs this week and want to know if I should use any permitex or never seez on the threads

Yes. The two end exhaust studs go through to the water jacket. I still put sealer on them all because it also acts like an anti seize compound and does not allow them to rust and seize in the head.

Love it / perfect and thank you . Omg o asked a question and got a real answer for once. I use never seez on all motor bolts but I’ll used permitex on the two end ones
