Smart Phone To Dumb Phone Question.

I guess you don’t remember the exploding batteries on those androids do you?
That's battery manufacturer problem android only is part blame for using a battery they didn't know would explode, but nowadays we're seeing battery powered explosions everywhere.
Maybe people were supposed to learn a lesson from the battery, I had one swell up really bad on a Samsung Google G2 phone I had for almost 10 years, I guarantee there's no cell phone that will last that long anymore

With text you can say what you need to say without getting interrupted or sidetracked.
NOTHING about my IPhone is important enough to run for the phone when it rings, beeps or whatever.
I use IT, it doesn’t use me.

The very best thing it does in my opinion is I can use voice control for about anything.
I can make a call, receive a call, text, bring up maps and turn by turn directions, start Bluetooth music and a few others without ever touching the phone.
All plays back, asks questions if needed and functions through the stereo in the Dart.
One button on the stereo and I can tell it to text Rob :D and it asks what I want to say.
Then even read back an answer.
Smart phones are great if you use them instead of them using you.
The other thing about text is people say what they want without fear of the teeth getting knocked out lol

True, but I treat people exactly the same whether in person or digitally.
I am on here exactly as if it were in person.

Didn't read through it all but did you get an answer that made sense?

So I finally pulled the trigger and got me a new flip phone. Why I didn't do it sooner, I have no clue. The reception is twice what my stupid smartphone was. And so far, no way to import all my contacts, but I added a few tonight will do some more tomorrow rinse and repeat until they're all done. It is one LOUD **** when it rings, too and I like that.

I have a flip phone never use it,I have 3 land line numbers and my son has the smart phone, I leave all that up to him when I need it.:)
