I went to work in a local speed shop in the early seventies. For a year I was a flunkie.
I left there to become a line mechanic in a Mopar dealership. I also had an older friend who had an extensive car magazine collection that dated from the late 40's. I read every magazine cover to cover. I used to read the JC Whitney catalog cover to cover.
I've always been interested in hot rods as long as I can remember. I remember being twelve years old at a car show for the 1970 Rapid Transit Car Line up. Pure musclecar heaven!!!
