1970 Plymouth Duster. Largely unmolested with modest upgrades. Drive train is original to car.

Car runs, drives and stops great. It is a blast to drive.

318 with Edelbrock intake and 4 barrel Carb

Car came from factory with 8 3/4 rear diff. Upgraded from 2.76 gears to Yukon 3.55 gears (sure grip). I kept the original gears.

B7 Blue paint (Jamaica Blue) – mostly original

Was originally a white vinyl top car – was converted by first owner

AC car – equipment removed but I still have it

Most of it's life spent in TX. Second owner was in TN which is where I bought it. Mileage believed to be accurate at under 100k miles but can't prove with documentation.

Very little rust - floor pans, frame rails solid. Small hole in trunk.

SBC front disc power brakes

10” rear drum brakes

15” wheels

Small Bolt Pattern (5” x 4”)

Ralley Rims

New dual exhaust with street flow mufflers

Professionally rebuilt 904 transmission

Bluetooth amplifier and 6x9 speakers

Tires are virtually brand new

255/60/15 on rear

215/60/15 on front

I like your car. Couple of questions.
Are the front disc brakes from SBC, a conversion kit with adapters for a original drum brake set-up ? Do you have the complete A/C components and what area or areas have been repainted ? I'm presuming the roof was painted after the vinyl was removed.
Thanks

I noticed that the front bench appears to be out of 1972 Duster or possibly another Abody, but not a 1970-71 Duster. Was this originally a bench seat car? Any info. on the location of the original seat(s)?

What is the condition of the exterior paint (chips, dings, etc.)?

Beyond the trunk rust hole, could you describe any other areas with rust?

Thanks.

Yes the disc brake conversion was a SBC kit that bolted on.

I have all the AC components.

And yes, the original owner had roof painted when vinyl top was removed. This was completed many years ago in TX.

I am sorry - I don’t know about the bench seat originality. Or the location of the original seats. I thought they were reconditioned original to the car.

There is surface rust under car but it is mild and as solid as they come. I can dig up pics for someone who is really interested. The only other issues I’ve seen are small areas where the paint was chipped.

Beautiful Duster!

Here is the factory bench out of my 72' Scamp. Looks very similar, just in black.
