On the net somewhere. Chrysler Power is doing the Poly parts.
Poly 395 stroker was the photo title.
This Poly stroker sounds angry!
Here is one I sold,
I go over to FBBO occasionally to see what's up. Check out the class . cars for sale, to see what sold and get an idea what $. The early B body guys feel like I do, my generation ( I am 71 today!) we are the ones that connect with these cars as we were there back in the day. WE are dwindling in numbers daily. I got my license in '64, a horse friend old enough to be my mother, loaned me here 64 383 sport fury and horse trailer to go to a horse show in '65. She also owned part of that Ga small town mopar dealership. It is getting hard to find early B project worth having, most of what is available are older to new restos.
The 64 next to my 62 is for sale, around $6k, he's got 2 more, one I'm trying to obtain. I took these pics 10 years apart, $35k, 440, turquoise interior, beautiful car, hasn't moved in decades. If I had that much coin I'd buy it in a second. I know, too much blah blah blah, but when you're familiar with a car that long, it's blinding. But to be clear, it's in excellent shape.
Max wedge car. My pops spent 10 years trying to buy it. Every so often he would stop and knock on the door and ask about the car. One day the guy got tired of his ugly mug and said yes. As she looked when we picked it up. Guy wanted 5 grand and said keep the trailer. After a wash. The dam hood spear and emblem cost us a grand. Welcome to B bodys.....
6k total, that's a deal. From what I can see in the pics, I wouldn't change a thing, just make it road worthy, safe, and as comfortable as possible.
sadly the entire car looks like it was built with a torch and a stick welder, which it probably was... so its gonna need some work to make it to where it's up to our standards.. But the body is perfect. Shes a legit old race car. You can see the long wheel studs in the pic. Still has stickers on the lexan windows.
Are those headlight block offs well made/installed, or amateur garbage? They certainly look cool, at least in the daytime.
That thing is a history book. Cool stuff!!!!
Have a '63 best of both worlds
Tough crowd on Mopar sites...and if something goes wrong with a fifty year old car, some guys take offence .
Sweet....it’s in a 66 Valiant!
This is what I finally ended up with. Originally a 426 Street Wedge 4-Speed car. It now has a 440 in it.
I love the early B Bodies! But the yard is full and hard to sell a slant duster to make room IF I even could find a decent affordable project!!!!! I have had a few and love em!!!!
I work for a guy who has over a 100 car collection, only 2 mopars,69 charger and a 64 Belevedere 383 4 speed, would take the 64 in a heart beat, over all the other shit he has, and he has some bitchin stuff man, high dollar stuff, mostly ford chebby shit, but what can I say,I gotta hear about the GM stuff everyday about how good that shit is, just keep my mouth shut. I am retired anyway just workin out there because it's cool and get to work on old cars, but yea man 64 belvedere is way way cool, they just look mean
