I liked one when Calvin was selling a kick in the pants, " I don't understand, business is terrible but everyone I know needs what I'm selling".

Greatest comic ever, I still have all the books from when I was younger!!

sorry. they are very good but not equal to "the far side"

Gary Larsons "Far Side" is a very funny strip and I respect your opinion, but you cant really compare the two works. The Far Side was always absurd and intended to be funny,Calvin & Hobbes on the other hand could be very existential, witty, cynical and philosophical at times and Bill Watterson was a much better artist. (In my opinion).

Heres one of my favorite Calvin & Hobbes Strips that illustrates my point.

I loved "The Far Side," but I never realized how "disturbed" both Calvin and his Dad really are LOL

Thanks:cheers:
I always liked (and probably identified somewhat) with Calvin...
I did like the Far Side also, as well as a lot of Dilbert. My favorite Dilbert was when Dogbert was studying people on the golf course...

I remember reading these when they were "current".

The philosiphy questions and are incredible, and seem to dare you to introspect.

My uncle explained MPH vs RPM to me with the record player example.

When that one came out, I clipped it and gave it to him.
