OK I will try to post a pic tomorrow.I can't help, but I'd love to see pictures
OK Thanks for your helpAny 999 (special order) paint could be had by a customer, it just had to be a paint commercially available at the time. If you can not find the exact shade in a Chrysler, Ford, Chevy, Toyota , Volkswagon color, etc., etc., then you may have to have the original paint on the car professionally scanned to come up with a match.
Have your local automotive paint store take a "picture" of a non faded area so they can tint your color to try to match. Go to dodgecharger.com and look up thread 999 paint codes explainedHave a 1972 duster limited edition white top green bottom .Bought it new has a 4 leaf clover on it.Needs touched up.Paint code is 999.Can't find any paint for it can anybody help? I'm not sure how many they made. That looks close to F6 but I think its a bit on the dark side. Was this a regional only special edition? Never seen one, very very cool!!
ThanksThat is really cool.
Bought it new the way you see it in the pics except for the wheels.Never heard of it, but totally cool Duster. Does it have the fender tag & what engine?
Those 71 hood scoops didn't come on a Duster that I know of, but maybe you added them since you say you bought it new?
71 Duster Twister's had scoops. Optional package A51 in /6 and 318 cars.
No 70-72 340 Duster had those scoops though.
