[WANTED] speedo gear

my son has a 73 duster 340 matching # trans auto 489 with 323 gear's
with p235/60r15's tire die. is 28'' what speedo gear do I need & if some has one let me know thank's

235/60/15's are not 28" diameter. I think your confusing terms. Diameter is the distance around an object. On a 235/60/15 tire it'd easily be 70+ inches. I don't know the cross section or I could figure it up. I believe "tire height" is the term you meant and on a 235/60/15 tire it's about 26.1" tall. According to my chart you need a 33 tooth speedo gear. I might have one. Will look tomorrow morn. after I get back from a doc appt. and get back to you.

Looks like you need a 31 for a 28" tire or a 33 for a 26" tire... I have a spare 32 tooth you can have if you pick up (I'm in Ottawa too)
