speedometer cable help

i just changed my rear end in my 73 duster from 7.25 to 8.75 now my speedometer is off by 10 mph, can i buy new cable end that goes into trans or what can i do? thanks

you need to pull the speedo housing in the trans and replace the colored gear with one that is correct for your rear gear and tire size. the cable just gets spun by this piece.

i have a 323 with tire size of p245 60 r 14 any idea what color? thanks

I thought we had a speedometer gear chart here on the site, but I can`t find it now. Has anybody else seen it here ,or am I losing it?
