Ok I have seen several threads on here about people wanting spitfire headers
They are still Avalable through Laysons Restorations for 564.00
Plus additional 168.00 for ceramic coated
I called them this morning and Wanted to pass this along
If I'm not mistaking he is mfg them now:cheers:

Yes, Layson's has them made locally in the Seattle area. I know the shop and have seen the fixture.

Yep, just like the 4 spd bezels for '65 darts they got from Year one and marked up, and the trunk floors they bought for early B bodies and almost doubled the price... HMMM... lets corner the market and rape the consumer because we have the cash to do so and that is the American way. I'll fabricate my own headers before I would give him that for a pair of headers that used to sell for $180... but thanks for trying to pass the info just the same.

shame that harold flaked out and screwed up his spitfire deal.. even at $250 he was selling them for at the end they were a good deal. the thieves at laysons just copying someone else's design and then rapeing ya on the price is just another reason not to do business with those crooks. at over $500 for a set now i just don't see the reason to use them.

I agree, you might as well spend the extra for TTI or Dougs. They are way better construction anyway.

Laysons is way pricey. I bought my spitfires on line for 300.00. These guys were charging way to much on everything at our Moparfest here in Ontario, "because of the exchange" and claiming bogus costs. Dave's tent is always full though. People will pay for convenience I guess.:-k
With the price they are charging for the Spitfire copies I would look at Dougs or TTI.........way better headers too depending on your motor.

Call Sanderson and ask Francisco about his DD-8 headers for EARLY A-body Mopars. The DD-7's ought to work for '67 & up A bodies.

BC

The DD-8 must be new as they are not on their web site yet. Be looking foward to finding out more about them.Sanderson has been around for quite some time and is known for good products.
