I don't remember what AA/F was back when these cars were new, but I don't think it was a hell of a lot faster

EDIT I find (Google) that in 66 they were well into the 7's so .........

Thanks for posting:
I you noticed there are two Howes cars running out of Canada, a father and son team.
My good friend FJ Smith built both of there cars, my Dart was a duplicate of Mark Howes Dart. I have a ton of build shots of both cars.
I see both Howes are running good.

As a guy who is new to hotrods and the new owner of a 68 FB fish that has been /still is racing, all I can say is that vid lets me know what the NHRA rules meant with 68 darts and fish in SS/RA. Cool!

Close races - That is kinda how we have been doing at our local track but a lot slower.

So, anybody know where Bucky Hess is?

And, what ever happened to West coast Hemi's?

Thanks for posting.
I never will get tired of the SS/AH cars.
They always have been and always will be the coolest Mopars to me.

Harry Holton was the man behind the West Coast Hemis....unfortunately I believe father time has caught up with Harry as his health has not been very good...

The cars still show up to Mopars at the strip and the west coast national events...but they are no longer the fastest of the SS/AH
