Looking for a floor shift steering column or shift tube that connects to the 4-Speed reverse lockout linkage.
History on my quest:
I converted a column shift automatic column to floor shift & it works great, but the reverse lockout linkage for the 4-speed was too long to connect to the shift tube on the column. Research in the parts catalog indicates there were 3 different shift tubes for 1970 A-Body floor shift columns. Automatic, 3-Speed & 4-Speed.
If you have a column or shift tube, please PM me, but it MUST be for a 4-Speed. Power or manual steering does not matter to me. I have parts to accommodate my needs for that.
Photo shows lockout linkage connected to the lever on the shift tube on a car I saw at a car show.
Thank you.
