Old work partner's kid worked for Rodeck in Paso. Jack had an injected gas dragster BBC, hilborn, glide, Alan Johnson chassis, yes, that Alan Johnson. Over in the corner of Rodeck's shop sits a dust covered block that never moves. Kid asks John Rodeck why it's just sitting there. "The distributor hole is in the wrong place and I don't want to mess with it." Kid says "Can we have it for our dragster?". "If you buy the rods and pistons from me it's yours" Mr Rodeck says. A case of beer to the shop welder and another case to the guy on the milling machine and the dragster has a Rodeck in it.
