You boys are killing me! As a fancy certified SST welder I just literally could not drink coffee as I could see the effects in my welds. My hands would shake ever so slightly from the caffeine. Our NDI inspector was a tool and would reject our welds for the smallest deviations. I always envied the guys at break sipping the coffee. It smells yummy. I won't even talk to the wife before she has hers tho.

I buy the medium roast ground coffee from Koa for around $30/lb including shipping. I have a membership with them.

My Jamaican friend and I have had a cup or two of his cappuccino. I was wired for hours, he was mellow. May be he smoked some Jamaican in the back room before I got there.

Just opposite here. Welding class when I was an apprentice. Could not get the hang of running 7018 uphill. Class on Saturday, night before I go out and get hammered. Go to class with major hangover, shakin' like a poodle poopin' peach seeds. Into the booth I go. Instructor comes in to look at my samples, "I don't know what you changed, but keep doing it. Looks great".
