Choke rod, cut a slot in a 1/4” or 5/16” bolt. Put over rods and snug up a nut.

Thats actually what I was gonna do. I need to find one or maybe just go get a grade 8 one for the front of the crank.

Hard to find one at the hardware store.

I just happened to flip past the Weather Channel yesterday when they were talking about the Southwest. The powers that be have "officially" decided that we are having an El Nino event. They didn't say which of the 3 documented varieties this is.

First...

Good morning people...

Thursday was crazy at work...

Half of the loaders called in... Just two of us and our lead...

Then a new guy that was re-assigned started and was supposed to help us, but he got moved to small saw dept to help there as their lead got fired at the beginning of the shift...

So another supervisor helped load with us...


Another 12 hour day.... That put me at 48.4 hours for the week and we are only supposed to work 12 hours max per shift...

Spent most of Friday trying to take naps to catch up on sleep....


I got a near miss when a guy crossed path in front of the crane that I was using to load one of my trailers...

F*cking dumbass doesn't have any common sense to check before he crosses paths....

My grandfather's old saying comes to mind: "Wake up and die right"....
